B.TECH IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING

RESEARCH

During my time at VIT Pune, my academic work moved beyond coursework into research across cryptography, 3D reconstruction, accessibility, NLP and knowledge-grounded LLM systems.

EXTRACURRICULAR

Engineering at VIT was never only about coursework. Alongside academics and research, I was involved in student communities, events and creative production.

ALTER-EGO: THE CREATIVE JOURNEY

Explore the character recreations and visual experiments I have created throughout college and beyond.

BEST OF MONEY HEIST

Recreated favourite scenes from Netflix's Money Heist, casting family and friends to bring the ensemble to life. Won an official Money Heist jumpsuit from Netflix India for this!

LEO — COSPLAY & SCENE

Recreated the opening scene from Leo for a college cosplay event and released it on actor Vijay's 50th birthday. Used Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Da Vinci for Post-Production.

RETRO — HAND-DRAWN EDIT

Created 101 hand-drawn frames to recreate the Retro title card, released on Suriya's 50th birthday. Stitched all hand drawn frame images in Adobe Premiere Pro for final rendering.

RAJINI 75 — MATCH CUT EDIT

Created a frame-to-frame title-card animation inspired by Rajinikanth's Coolie, using identity-transfer techniques in Neo and meticulous editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.

BLOODY ROMEO — WORLD EDIT

Used Kling, Veo, SuperGrok and GPT alongside identity transfer and visual-prompt techniques to create a Miami-inspired world and title-announcement teaser, assembled in Adobe Premiere Pro.

BACK TO THE BEGINNING

Let's experience it again.

Movies and shows have always been a big part of what I consume. Eventually, watching wasn’t enough. I started recreating scenes, frames and visual ideas that caught my attention — not to make an exact copy, but to understand what went into creating the shot in the first place. Every recreation becomes its own technical experiment.

The CraftsSmith

My YouTube channel started during school, built around DIY recreations of props and objects from games and movies. It is where I first learned to make something because I wanted to hold it.

Before the edits, there was cardboard, glue and paint. DIY taught me to look closer — to break a prop down into shapes, textures and layers, then build it back with my own hands. That habit still drives every frame I make.

About

Myself Anshuman Giramkar, a B.Tech Computer Engineering graduate from Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, Pune. I’ve always been someone who likes to make things — whether that means writing code, working on research, figuring out how something works, or recreating something I’ve seen in a film.

Today, I work as a Software Developer at PTC on FlexPLM, but outside of work I’m usually experimenting with something completely different — a video, a 3D scene, an edit, a film recreation, or just some crazy idea I want to see come to life.

I guess that’s the simplest way to put it: I like technology, I like films, and most importantly, I like making things.
